On our server there are a couple groups that haven’t been on in months, yet their builds never decay. How do they do that?
Another player told us that some people have Admin rights and can prevent their stuff from decaying, but we always thought there were no player Admins on Official servers
no one has admin rights on offical servers. They just hop on on the 7th day to refresh bases. Its pretty common on PvE servers

So do they have to visit each base, or simply sign into the game to refresh everything?
they have to touch or interact with each base.
they just have to be in render distance.
