PS4 Update 2.5.1 Discussion Megathread

The descriptions of the Voidforged weapons (or most special weapons) don’t exactly explain their features very well.
While I appreciate the discovery element, I also think if we know how to make a thing, we could possibly be given information of what it does.

Blood-drinker is the repair when killing things trait tag.

I think Nimble reduces stamina cost.

The Voidforged Bow previously was a huge offender. Ripping: reduces glove durability to give infinite ammo…

Not suggesting it was promised, but what’s the point of including frost smithing and not being able to forge black ice weapons or tools?

As is, you can use items for delving, which breaks them, and still get the same materials back from the dismantling bench. I think that’s a good thing.

I think their original thought is to separate Siptah from Exile lands. Things that was really grindy and hard to find in EL you find them in flotsam ver easy, for example Grey lotus seeds. I opened a flotsam and it gave me almost a hundred 🤦🏼. Yet things were easy in EL now you have to grind to get them, for example cooking recipes :man_shrugging:, even e motes, they are not always spawned. This however can be a reason to play in EL, take all the knowledge is there waiting for you, jump to Siptah gain the rest and the decide what finally is the map you want to continue playing. I am still trying to reveal Siptahs secrets the slowest possible, I am not in a rush. Between Siptah and exile lands now I have finally a delima. I get used the horse riding idea and exile lands are not so “horse riding lands” . I really miss the teleport system in Siptah, but I am pretty confident that this feature will never be added in Siptah.
I really don’t bother anymore for the differences, I don’t even see Siptahs equipment op, it’s not. In exile lands, Arena armor, God breaker and reddememd silent legion has nothing to fear against vaults sets. The festering one is doing the same damage with the feroxic and the Grey weapons consume great stamina, so for pve I am really OK.
I would like to have some addings but I am not so sad I don’t have black ice or obsidian tools in Siptah, either way I was never using them, my main was always star metal or black blood.
And I don’t really care I didn’t find yet black blood tools, the survivalist armor (Asuras) is craft able in Siptah so this +15 is a really good replacement .
If you are still reading, thank you for your time :+1:t6:.

It allows you to repair the weapons that are dropped from the NPCs in the (northern) surge.

Mild tangent, but has anyone found a use for corrupted stone on Siptah?
It drops with some regularity, but the only use I know of for it is maprooms…

Hi,

Corrupted stone can also be used for the Kinscourge statue, Serpentmen statues, throne of Skelos, and petrified egg.

Unfortunately all those recipes are locked behind RNG.

Gratitude.

Do you know if the RNG is of the Vault end variety or of the Summon a specific surge variety?

The recipes dropped in the surge are typically varieties of specialist cooking, and brewing. Although you can also obtain several armor/weapon schematics, various banners, and also the aforementioned frost smithing.

The end chest in vaults, and more effectively using figurines at the pools of the grey ones (to obtain schematics fragments), is how you obtain all of the recipes that would usually be found in the library of esoteric artifacts , excluding of course the ones that are obtained through using fragments of power in the tower.

So basically you can get them from vaults, and from combining schematic fragments dropped by some mobs spawned from figurines at the pools of the grey ones.

Hope that helps.

I noticed that last week on my server didn’t have any idea when it showed up. Thanks for the heads up.

I read that there is a plan of a building limit?
I searched for it but found no details or informations.

Probably just to give the player an idea of how many building pieces/placeable they are currently at. Beside if they place a limit base on this number, I say it will be a mess to put it lightly as all are not equal in term of resources used.
