Learning the hard way since my clanmates hardly play these days… if you haven’t had a clanmate log in for some time, when you leave your clan to juggle around characters and items, you will lose all of your thralls. The system reads you as the last refresh on thralls. When you leave the clan, it assumes no one has been on since the last clanmate was on… and if it’s been a bit, you lose every thrall you own. I lost all my EL and Siptah thralls. Thanks, Funcom. @Dana @Community
Don’t blame Funcom. Blame your clan members for not being active.
Did you promote any other clan mate as clan leader before you leave your clan?
The clan belongs to the leader so if the leader departs the clan then everything belongs to him-her ONLY, as long as he-she is active in this particular server.
So if you departed the clan without promoting anyone else as Clan leader and departed the server, then the system will automatically remove whatever was in your possession.
In any case , i am sorry mate, that’s awful.
Yeah, I always promote. However, I had forgotten it does this. It would be nice if the setting was that they’re refreshed and stay that way, even if I leave clan.
All i can say, promise and do in this situation brother is just name your wish .
You know that i want nothing for me, all i need is reason to play. Even if you need company in your Siptah session i’ll guard you as companion to get your knowledge easier.
For the thralls you lost on exile lands we’ll create a purge base and get them all back in less than a week.
It’s all gaming time and fun for me, make me happy brother
.
You should be playing Crimson Desert! ![]()
What platfrom do you play on?
Playstation. You need help m8
?
I think I have very good ideas, which can make you play again.
My biggest regrets are losing all those momentums and some of my favorite thralls. Mary had a unique female berserker she really liked. Rip…
On the bright side, I got something to do on the game again, as well as getting recipes for my characters on their opposite maps. I still don’t think I got everything from siptah that I should have, but whatever. If they keep transfers, I can always go back.
the only way i believe it was possible to move everything to a player that was in a clan is to kick everyone out and once you are the last player you can quit the clan and all will be transfer to him/her, but if there was a player , it might simply promote someone that is already in the clan , it was like this for years. dunno if that changed
This is a different issue. I was swapping my characters from one server to another. All you have to do is give the clan over to another clanmate and then leave. Transfer the character to another server, then bring the new one over. Then rejoin the clan and have the clanmate give leadership back.
The issue here is that if you leave clan before anyone else in clan has been online recently, it abandons your thralls, stating that no clan member has been on for a long time. Oddly enough, it still treats buildings as though they’ve been refreshed. The timer works differently between thralls and buildings I guess. It’s a bummer and I’m not sure if it’s a bug in how the game works or if it’s intentional. What you need to do is have your clan member sign in first to get the automatic refresh before leaving.
I’ve never had this issue, but found out about it a few years ago when a friend had this happen to his clan while he temporarily joined mine to build something. He had two other members, but one hadn’t been on for a couple weeks and the other one left clan to make his own clan… or something to that effect. Long story short, because that member impulsively left clan, he lost all his thralls. See, I had seen this happen because of him, but I had simply forgotten it worked that way. Pretty lame.
Took me about about two weeks to get back 2 top tier thralls leveled up to 20 each , and a main operating base with a satellite base for each of the 11 servers i had a level 60 on.
Materials and thralls are expendable.
My characters are not.
I will be server transferring as soon as it becomes available again.
No clanmates required- those clanmates are for the actually server you will be playing on
So the issue isnt Funcom- its the people in your clan.
Yeah, I learned this lesson myself awhile back.
I wasn’t the clan leader, but I was the only person who had signed in within a week. I left the clan temporarily, and all of the followers committed mass suicide.
Thrall decay doesn’t work like base decay. The came periodically does the calculation:
If clan members -7 days = delete followers.
Unlike structures, which are on a countdown timer.
