Keep all of the discussion in one place instead of having to moderate a buttload of different threads. It makes it easier for the moderators to do their job, and it also makes it easier for the community managers and devs to look for something specific that was mentioned here, if they need to.

Yes, because software development is not a democracy. And it’s also not a bike you can stop and turn around in a matter of seconds.

Feedback isn’t about giving them our permission to do things. It’s supposed to inform their future decisions, not make those decisions for them. And those future decisions take time to make properly and more time to implement.

I don’t like several things about this update, but what I said above is literally how things work. The best I can hope for is that my feedback will cause them to make changes eventually. I wish I had more faith in their future decisions and in how quickly they might implement them, but that’s a different topic.
