Purchases migration

Hello. I’m a player, a private server administrator, and a mod developer for Conan Exiles (link to my workshop: Steam Community :: WhoCares :: Workshop Items )

It so happens that I have multiple copies of this game. I purchased two copies for Steam and one for Epic Games. Since Epic Games didn’t have a launcher, it was more convenient to launch the game through the Epic Games version. It was my primary version for the last 3-4 years. I completed all the Battle Passes, bought up the entire Bazaar, and grabbed all the Twitch drops on it. And now I’ve learned that Epic Games won’t be updating the game on May 5th. I was extremely surprised and upset by this. It looks like I’ll have to switch back to the Steam version. But on this version, I only have DLC and maybe a couple of Twitch drops. Is there any way to transfer my Epic Games purchases to my Steam account? If not merge them, can I at least swap the two accounts?

There currently isn’t any way afaik, but several players have been advocating for some way to bring console/epic DLC and bazaar items to Steam. I can only wholeheartedly agree.

The problem isn’t really Funcom’s fault, and there ability to do anything about the matter may be limited. But it would be really, really nice of them to help their customers out a little.

I don’t see any technical difficulty in swapping my two fuuncom accounts between my Steam and EGS accounts. In theory, it’s pretty simple. It would be a matter of will. Most likely, there won’t be a will until the number of players making such requests reaches a critical or at least significant level. One way or another, I hope for the best.

wow they sure like you $$$$$$$$$$$ hug

It’s not about money. It’s about accessibility. The marketplace is built on the principle of artificial scarcity. The constant randomness of the marketplace makes it difficult to buy exactly what you need at the moment. And the inaccessibility of Twitch drops is what worries me.
