Hello there! I used to play few years ago on a server that had purges every month or one month and a half, i just started this game from the beginning, solo mode on PS4, i forgot that it doesnt start purge before i make a house and i played with settings, purge kept growing really fast so i disabled it till i get a good purge setting, i dont really understand how numbers work in those settings, can anyone share with me their purge settings if they have it for monthly purge (which i guess is the normal thing?), thank you very much!
Welcome to the Forum @ChrisYayo . If you go into settings under purge there is adjustable sliders and numbers. 42,000 is default lower purge comes sooner. You can not get a purge when you are logged out. There are other settings available in this section also that can be adjusted if you are considered about getting your base wiped set the purge to level 1 weakest fewer waves of NPC. We have had a Exiles server for years and unless something has been recently changed there is no setting to only have a purge every month and half perhaps they only turned it on at those intervals. Everyone on a online server is going to accumulate points differently depending upon what they do to earn them.
Go into a alternate character on your ps4 and screen shot the default settings for purge and compare to what you have in your current game. Let me know what happens
so, does that mean that the default purge settings are set to trigger a purge every ~month?
No if you were to spend alot of time building exploring doing dungeons you could have a purge weekly. Wanted you to have screen shot so you could compare to your current game. I am not online now there are some other adjustments that can change the rate. Going to fire up ps4 and check
Purge meter trigger valve default 42,000 goes to 100,000 placed there would slow it down alot.
If you have access to the Isle of Siptah dlc, you could admin spawn a convergence trap (works on Exiled Lands too) to control the purge meter until you’re ready. Saves time and doesn’t require you to fiddle with purge settings
