The purge may be broken, but what you’re really having issues with is the disconnect when there is a lot of animation or activity going on. It happens during purges. It happens fighting small mobs. A single sand reaper can send you packing with a blast of it’s spit-vomit. The animations are causing a memory leak or something & players are getting disconnected. Sometimes it starts a disconnect loop until the action dies down.
This problem was introduced with the release of the final chapter of Age of Sorcery. There is a fix for a disconnect issue they say was hard to track down. This may or may not be it. Who knows… they’re SO specific in the details of the bug fixes in the patch notes!
