# Purge targeting other players

Does the purge attacks a player base if it is not meant for him but for another player nearby?  
I ask because I’ve seen human npcs (in an area were there aren’t) attacking my base. Since I didn’t receive a warning and my purge meter was low, I assume that they were meant for a neighbouring player that has his base on a cliff with an elevator.

Short answer: Yes.

Long Answer: When a clan gets purged, the target clan gets a 10-minute warning that an army will march from a distance (~100-200 yards/meters away) to attack their base. However, if someone else has their base is along the path, then it will attack theirs instead and they’ll have no warning since it’s technically someone else’s purge.

It sounds to me that this might be what happened in your scenario too.
