Purges spawn in bases again?

It was ok before this patch(more or less). Im usually building on a rock so purges cant reach me, but now whole purge spawned on my top floor and started destroying everyting.

This is your mistake! .
If a purge can’t reach will spawn inside. I sorry m8, you have to anchor your base and hope that it will work! Good luck.

But it worked before. They spawned near my base and just walked around it. Plus this time i didnt delete stairs leading to my base cos i was in the mood to fight it.

OH! I didn’t understood this from the op, my apologies. How many purges you accepted before? Were they all the same? Can you give more info to this please?
I remember recently I was helping another player who decided to build in the guiding light building of the jungle! He accepted one lemurian purge inside and then, if I remember correctly, all the others came normally, but never lemurian again! So this “may” happened because he put foundations to the spot that the purge was spawning… Maybe!!! Nothing is certain. So can you give more info, or why not upload a picture or something!

Well i found this spot around half a year ago and buildt there on a several servers, mostly modded(AOC).
Faced lots of purges, both animal based and human based like rocknose avalanche, zealots of mitra, stormholds and etc. I think it was the first time disciples of jhebbal sag came, so maybe its the thing.

It still works if they do not have anything to spawn on. Means any bigger flat areas that are not occupied with benches, decor or other stuff that blocks the tiles are a potential target. Especially the roof.

You can controll the purge if you give them something to go for. Build a sandstone plattform outside where they can spawn or walk on. Purges love sandstone and flat areas. If you have big unused space inside your buildings try to lay down carpets and do some decorations here ad there to block the area. And do a proper roof, that flat area is crying for a purge to spawn on.

This . This purge years now, when I build on top of things is spawning inside, to be exact on the roof of my base! Last time I builded on a cliff or a building top was 2 years ago and ilthis purge spawned as I told you above, so for me it’s nothing new! I hope this helped.

It has always been the case that if the purge has no route to your base, it will spawn inside your base.

Thats why you shouldnt put bases into unreachable positions. Drawbridge doesn’t count afaik.
