1. You’ll never have any guarantee. Numbers and meta base spots with active clan members can see good defence. If you’re playing solo then have many stashes, a couple of “main bases”. Make fake stashes with chests and loot in it, but not enough to make you sweat so if they do find the fake stash, they’ll believe they were rewarded.

  2. When I’m solo I only have 1 or 2 thralls with good gear. I keep a stock of extra thralls as they’ll inevitably get killed.

  3. Anti climb is good for the newcomers or casuals who don’t keep a large stock of sorcery goods. It’s useless for raiding clans in the traditional sense. I still have it on my “main”. There are a few interesting building strategies that use anti climb in a stacking manner which appears to be still within ToC, makes it a bitch to raid even with bat or icebridge.

If you amass enough to require it BVing is truly your friend.

It’s the logical thing to want a base of operations but isn’t always the best strategy as a solo. Don’t keep your important stuff in the base during raid time and be ok with it being raided. Use it as your target.

These are my suggestions of course and requires a different play strategy than what most would assume is the way. But, surviving even on a low pop with an established refreshing alpha you gotta be tricky.
