Hello,

I started playing Conan on day one and have followed many milestones and evolutions of the game over the years. Of course, I sometimes take breaks due to personal matters or occasionally because of issues related to the game itself (bugs, etc.).

After several months away, I decided to return to see what is new, and I have a few concerns and comments that I would like to address here, as they do not seem appropriate for the public forums.

1 – Yamatai DLC
I recently purchased the latest Yamatai package, which, in my opinion, is quite expensive for what was delivered. To my surprise, the new cosmetic appearances cannot be used when creating a new character. Since the content has already been purchased, these options should be available during character creation.
Yes, I understand that it is possible to modify the character later at the appropriate bench, but ideally these visuals should already be available at the character creation stage.

2 – Sorcery
One of the few useful aspects of sorcery used to be the lightning storm, which could damage bases and had a practical purpose. Now it barely has any real function and feels more like a visual effect than an actual gameplay mechanic. It does not even damage simple structures effectively anymore. It should deal meaningful damage to constructions.

Most of the other spells are completely useless in combat and seem to exist only for role-playing purposes. Investing corrupted attribute points leaves the player with mediocre health and stamina, making it nearly impossible to compete in PvP, especially since most of the related abilities are ineffective.

The corruption explosion tied to Strength should trigger more frequently. Life drain should also occur more often. The health regeneration of a corrupted build should be at least 5 per second. The damage from corruption explosions and shared corruption should be increased to at least 80.

The final corrupted thrall ability (summoning demons) should occur more frequently, and the demons should attack only enemies, not the player or their own thralls.

The only somewhat functional spell is the bat flight ability, and even that does not work properly. At the moment, it is mainly useful only for locating floating glitch bases.

The entire sorcery system should be reconsidered. A corrupted warrior build should be genuinely viable in player-versus-player combat. Currently, it does not offer anything concrete or competitive.

3 – Building
On official servers, the building limit should be reduced to around 6,000 blocks per clan. LATAM servers (4500, 4509, 4510, and 4511) are filled with an excessive amount of structures, usually from the same clans, blocking points of interest and cluttering the entire map without consideration for other players.

Players have also created countless golems and placed them around the sulfur areas. The servers are becoming heavy and unstable due to the excessive amount of structures across the map. On server 4510 there are even frequent DDoS attacks during raid hours.

In my opinion, 6,000 blocks in PvP servers would be more than sufficient to build a solid main base and a smaller secondary one without negatively impacting other players or server performance.

To this day, there are clans hiding in the map’s limbo areas or using floating bases. It is long overdue for more severe punishments for these practices. Players clutter the map, abuse glitches, and nothing happens. Anyone can verify this by visiting areas such as the Forest, Sepermeru, the Sulfur Lake, the Swamp, and the Sinkhole surroundings on LATAM servers.

There should be a dedicated administrator for LATAM servers who logs in invisibly at least twice a week to inspect the map, ban abusive clans, destroy illegitimate structures, and regularly clean the servers. The impression many players have is that the focus has shifted mainly to PvE servers and selling cosmetics for role-playing, while the once great and fair PvP experience has been left behind due to abuse and lack of enforcement.

4 – Avatars
What happened to the avatar system? Previously it lasted less time but was far more functional. It allowed smaller clans to defend themselves using a god’s power—which makes sense, since we are literally talking about a god.

Now the avatar lasts longer but is practically useless; it cannot even destroy a basic tier-1 structure without stability issues. This is very disappointing. The avatar system used to be something unique, powerful, and exciting. Today it feels pointless and serves mostly for role-playing.
