I believe that the 10 minute window is to give the chance to the offended to find and slay the offender. As long as you summon an avatar you are extremely vulnerable. 1 minute was not enough for someone to understand what’s going on, but 10 is more than enough. I don’t believe that if someone raid someone else online will make it more than five minutes.
The offended will find the summoner and kill him!
I remember playing on private pvp servers in the past, the admin was summoning a god and we had to find him and kill him. The only rule was not to open the map. Because if you open the map then you know exactly from where the summon started.
Look at the bright side now @Kilix. Before, with just one minute window you had to call the avatar close to the base you wanted to raid. Now you can take your distance and loose why not 2 minutes from the summoning, just to give your self a safe distance to make it difficult to the others to find you. If the players are good they will still find you, but you’ll enjoy it as well.
I believe that now avatars will totally take place in pvp severs.
Every pvp clan will have an eye in the map for tier 3 temples and avatars. I can see the fuss!
I have a strongly feeling it will work.
