Not consistent, but sometimes

I would like to confirm the same thing has happened to me. In my case, it was at the first pedestal on the right as you face the stairs. I could not kill or target. My thrall, in her infinite wisdom, led her there.

I had no option other than to leave and return later. Fortunately, this has only happened once in 40 or so farms and dismissed it as bad luck.

After seeing this well-documented report, and experiencing it elsewhere, wonder if there is space between the world mesh and the visual surface. This is pure conjecture.

After i killed her she dissapeared under the floor, i could see the whole body in a crack under the floor.
I had to log off and on again a couple of times to get some part, her head over the floor surface so i could loot her.

Mine was still alive, and I never thought of a relog. TY for that tip; if it happens again I will certainly try that.
