I read a lot of messages from people angry because they lost three days of games. in comparison the hundreds or thousands of hours lost by a large majority of players and it seems more important to me.
Funcom did (for once!) the only thing that needed to be done!
I nevertheless understand the frustration of those who played this weekend and lost everything, I am not a computer engineer or programmer so I cannot say if there was another way of doing things .
However, I think that Funcom would have had to warn the community more appropriately with a message on the servers. They would have had to stop the server from the time when the problem was known .
The lack of information and dialogue on the part of Funcom is clearly a problem.
I hope that in the future they communicate more and with clarity.
They currently assess the way of dedomed the players who following this rolback we lost everything, it is a good thing but if they had bored the better thing with us the anger would be less important .
I have the hope that Funcom will learn from his error (their acts past tells me the opposite) and will begin to considered their customers with more respect and consideration.
