Rented Server and Purges

I need some clarity on the Purges for rented servers on xbox 1.

  1. Is there a difficulty setting on a rented server?
  2. I know that on single player, purges will not happen on the Civilized difficulty, Do purges happen on rented servers regardless of difficulty (if there is one) or does this need to be activated in some way.
  3. I have heard that purges are working on xbox and I also hear they are not working and will remain inactive till Tuesday. Can someone please set the record straight?

As far as I can tell. Rented servers do not have purge enabled currently but the Official servers do.
