It’s fun to replace blocks but I rather pay the whole cost of all blocks in one big go for all connected block so you replace harder ones without the struggle of doing so, this would also save massive time as I recently replaced 3000 blocks in a single hour I personally don’t wants to do this on a regular basis.
How should that even work? You use different types of building pieces and you mix same pieces from different sets. If you only use 1 block type and 1 variety of a block, your buildings must be mighty boring
I get mixing but this is for people that don’t mix. This would help them specifically in pvp
It sounds a bit niche and like a big effort to differentiate between pvp and pve and define the logic behind it. Looking at how they are handling bugfixes, I would be surprised if something like that, complex change with limited benefit would even be considered
Not sure my entire keep had 3K blocks to it.
I hear what your saying, sort of like 7D paint where you can reskin an entire floor in 1 go. But funcom would probably have to recode the blocks and I’d rather funcom leave the recording to a minimum. Less chance of them borking up then entire building system for months.
I replaced 3000 blocks in a single hour not that I wanted to go from stone to any higher tier but lost dungeon material looked great. Then my pvp admin said I went past 40x40 and hit 40x80… so I wouldn’t care who says what if a building is of one material it is a life saver.
Actually yeah them coding I rather them test this stuff on a private aspect and for a whole year
