last time i played you could reset 3 times a day on the challenges for battlepass but now it seems gone. Did they change it?

Yes, the challenges reset weekly and cannot be reset, but they give quite a bit more exp (2500 each). And their exp doesn’t count towards your daily limit (8000). The daily limit is from pretty much everything that gives exp (killing, gathering, and crafting), with the higher the content the more it gives.

I do not like it. Nor do I like the cap on battlepass xp.
There is one issue with the weekly challenges, which is that they can sometimes give you the objective of killing something that only exists on the other map.
Other than that, I think that if you give it a little time you’ll like the new system better. Rather than being forced to run around doing repetitive quests like, killing hyenas over and over, the new system gives you credit for simply playing the game. Do you want to run a dungeon? That counts towards your battle pass. Do you want to attack one of the NPC seige locations? That counts towards your battle pass. And so on, you get the idea.
Whereas before you had to go out of your way to look for very specific things, now you simply play the game and get credit for new BP levels. I can tell you that everyone in my tribe has decided that we like the new system better, but of course that’s not a guarantee. You might still prefer the old system, but give it a couple of weeks before you try to make up your mind.
