I think all servers are lagging pretty badly since the update. My game loads up to the trailer and that is choppy. Never happened until this last update.
With the introduction of Mounts it was needed to include a character movement momentum as it was very easy to dodge and get back to action, this new feature makes you slower to roll and even more with heavy armor, spending points in agility make your rolls faster.
There has been a lot of complains about how the mounts are way too strong in pvp, as for pve they are ok, sometimes they are more of a burden but a second inventory bag too.
There is no way to revert back, but once you get used to them they are not really that bad, imo it’s better now.
I’ve noticed that I’m even lagging on single player I reset everything it helped some but I can play other games just fine though

That is really how i use them. they can carry 10 items, so that with a bearer allow for me to run non enc mode at all times. I can teleport anywhere faster than riding, so really horses are just animated satchels during non PVP times.
