Reverse the rollback for PvP servers

With the recent roll back without warning on all official servers, lost thralls are returned to those who lost them but now a weekend of grind has been lost for everyone else.

After reading through the comments debating the outcome of this decision it’s quite clear there is a difference in the effects of this on PvE servers compared to PvP servers.

Most PvP players will log on every day for raid time so the recent thrall decay timer would not have affected them. Leading to most on PvP servers being affected negatively from this roll back for no reason.

The rollback should be reversed for PvP servers. PvE and PvP servers work very differently and a blanket roll back on all severs was not very thought out.

The majority of PvP players I hear from now are done with this company and don’t want to play conan anymore, just like the people who lost their thralls felt a few days ago.

If you truly care about minimizing the effects of your mistake on as many players as possible this is what you should do, and do it now, not in another 3 days.

PvE players buy more dlcs so they will always prioritize them

I agree, l literally deleted all my stuff and logged, for the last 3 days getting the start, defending from people raiding our base, securing a nice build spot and all the work that went into it. for that to just be gone is Ludacris. And hearing these PvE players try to sound morally superior because they have “thousands” of hours invested and blah blah blah. Time is time for everyone, no one can get it back, and no one is better or more important because they have x amount of time invested. Really bad decision on their part.

The irony of PVP players whining that they lost 48 hrs of progress because of… PVE players?

After half a decade of everything in the game from items to thralls to mechanics being constantly nerfed and ‘adjusted’ due to PVP and PVP exploits :roll_eyes:

I’m going to stop playing, the most fun was the pvp server, but it’s currently impossible to play, many players with flying bases and undermesh, a lot of glitches, and as if that wasn’t enough you’re going to play, sorcery evolves and suddenly, the server is back to 4 days ago and you’re back to sorcery level ZERO, see you later Conan. Very negative.

Your point of view from the PvE side is exactly why I’m making this post as well. PvE and PvP should be looked at differently so we don’t get these types of problems. There is never one solution for both servers, we need things to be adjusted separately for both.

Why do PvErs always have to be so toxic, going down this road would benefit you too

A soft PvEer will never understand the feeling of triumphing over your enemies who have for too long opressed your clan. Sword in hand, wind blowing through your kilt, justice finally dealt.

What do they know of true bravery, when their chests are full of goodies at all times, their clansmen are plenty and in no danger.

Their feeble mouths can only mutter “muh muh special thralls” in the face of peril.

Look, I understand it sucks to lose 48 hrs of work.
But are you really comparing two gaming days of PVP conquests to literally over a hundred thousand players losing EVERY single thrall they had? Clans losing over 100 endgame geared lvl 20 thralls?
Lets assume that all of them are replaceable (guess what: they’re not). How many hours do you think it takes to find, break, max level, min/max (potion of rebirth) and gear 100 thralls?

I truly hope Funcom figures out some way to compensate those who lost two days of game time, but to compare the two is absolutely laughable.

Why are you finding it so hard to understand what I’m saying, I’m suggesting a way for the servers where this really wasn’t an issue to get their time back and to keep the roll back on the servers where it was most affected, so the least amount of people can be affected by funcoms mistake.

Yeah, you got me. Every single PVE/PVE-C player losing hundreds/thousands of hours worth of leveled thralls and irreplaceable items is worth less than 48 hrs of PVPing :roll_eyes:

For a soft civilized pver you are unsofisticated. Triumph comes not only from skill, but also fate, also good judgement.
Skill is for tradesmen and crafters. Chieftains and warriors need possess other qualities.

they should have reset only the pve and the conflic, another option would have been to say we are going to reset in a few days have fun knowing that you will recover everything (the option that I prefer knowing what was going to happen it could have be really funny)
