It would make more sense then “it was because of the 2h changes”, when you dont even have the 2h weapon moveset with the LBS… 
Yes Sword of Crom was originally 121 damage. And yes Thralls could wield it back then. I think this is why the nerf calls began. However if the SoC and Lifeblood Spear are are too overpowered in the hands of Thralls, then I say rather than ruining them for players, restore them to their previous values and make them unequippable by Thralls.
