Ever heard of it? I’ve mentioned it a few times because it is an example of the worst of the season pass/event cycle.
I played RoE back when you needed a VPN because it was local restricted. Fun game, not in English but I managed. Great battle royal. At one time it was 3rd after fartnite and pubG. It hit the market under it’s own steam and was a hit that got tencents attention.
Next update introd the new maps, and the season pass/event system. Bugged broken got a hot fix that barely did, and next season, new broken maps, new broken weapons, new broken event, and hotfix, next season. This went on, broken maps, bugs, fall throuht new maps, new guns, new events till the player base dwindled away, and the developers moved on.
It’s now a zombie game with a couple hundred still playing, old seasons recycling, events all gone. Still full of bugs, holes in maps, exploits, and hackers.
And right now I see Conan marching down that same road to putridity.
I try to support funcom when they do something good, but, like I said, every time I pat them on the back for doing a good job they let out a chili and pickled egg fart that makes me regret it.
