Literally the most fun playing AO i’ve had yet.
was a returning player and i must admit i had serious fun for a couple months. but now it feels like a ghost town. no trade / ooc / vicinity chat whatsoever so world feels dead. just stopped my sub again
The discord channel is pretty active within the different groups, and if you ask in OOC, there is a group for trade if you’re interested. Also not sure what faction you’re in, but there are some fairly active large Omni orgs.

I’ve seen a few replies I agree and a few I disagree.
After playing awhile there I can say that it’s doesn’t feel anything like the game I started in 2003.
First off, there’s no reclaim so basically I’m stuck staring at a screen when I could be rearranging my inventory after every death.
Second thing. There’s an XP pool now. Gone are the days of dying 3 times in the same mission and wondering why the rest of the team got 4 levels that mission and you got 1.
Third…Subway, Temple, Foreman’s…good luck roaming PM looking for bot hackers, 8x8 or claw groups, Mort crater borgs, or running a team mission before level 100.
Fourth…newcomers armor and Miys armor…so much for farming team missions for that Kirch or Servants or Eight stuff…CDS on fixer…carbonum…CAS armor, etc
That said, the fact the server is still temporary means I won’t be playing there right now. I know that’s not set in stone but until told otherwise it still temporary.
This still going or what happened?
Still going, no GMI, no froobs. Player pop is very low. There are a couple three orgs active & doing end game raids but it’s pretty much a ghost town.
