I tend to build on, up and around rock outcrops and it’s always been at the back of mind that it would be cool to carve statues/iconography on the unmineable rocks, like a Yoggist Mt Rushmore or for the narcissistic despots your own head… making the rockspires and outcrops that are a feature of my settlements even more part of the settlement. Or at a pinch, rock art that you could map on to the textures of the rock (or even on walls) so you could honour your god Cistene style…
It’s a neat idea. Probably quite unworkable from a technical POV, as is any suggestion that deals with modifying the ground (“terrain”).
Fair enough, was just at the back of my head… maybe build some statues would be doable using stone. Nothing fancy just stone carvings.
The frescoes against walls should be easier then, would be nice to colour walls full stop, but wall art would be nice - looking forward to the pict interior walls, they look nice.
They are - the carvings, anyway. The wall paint on the inside is too unique, which makes it look wrong when repeated many times. Just my opinion, of course. The spikes are a pity though, too many for my taste.
