Not really… the context is still relevant because they’re utilizing all of your previously stated opinions at their disposal to back their argument. They didn’t specify when you mentioned and you didn’t specify where they needed to quote. You’re basically saying at this point that if you didn’t say it here, your opinions elsewhere that pertain to similar content are irrelevant. Unless you have stated that those are no longer your opinions due to changes in your outlook, they are still ammunition to be used against you. You can’t fault someone for being diligent in their research and then say they wasted their time. That’s an empty argument, man. It’s just a lazy response. This is done all the time when gathering evidence against someone in legal battles as well as debates. You can’t possibly say that doesn’t apply here. It’s all written in stone and easy to find. You built a case against yourself and now you’re getting mad that it was used against you.
I honestly don’t care about any of this THAT much, but I can still call a BS response when I see one.
