Issue:
Second Follower (War Party trait) disappeared while in The Dregs.
Details:
I went into the dungeon with two followers; both teleported with me just fine. Both engaged in combat. I noticed after the second Komodo that my archer was no longer present. I ran around trying to trigger the ‘warp to player’ effect that causes Followers to port to the player’s location.
This did not happen. I ran back up the stairs and out of the dungeon. My one follower is still next to me. But the second one isn’t.
The map shows their location as ‘next to me’. However…they are not there.
This is the second time it’s happen. The first time I thought it was due to them being Downed and my revive still in the animation sequence of them getting back up as I zoned into the dungeon.
Expected Outcome:
Followers shouldn’t randomly disappear.
Are you playing the Enhanced or the Legacy version? If Enhanced, please report it to Helpshift, which is the new place for reporting bugs in Enhanced.
I will say, I’ve experienced this bug in legacy. It always seemed to be triggered by teleporting/triggering a load screen (using a dungeon entrance, using a teleporter, using a map room, admin teleport, etc). The follower IS with you, they’re just invisible. If you have another follower start following you that will “take over” that spot in your roster, usually the invisible thrall becomes visible again. I’ve not actually run war party to know how you swap out just one follower (and it doesn’t do you any good in the dungeon since you don’t have extra thralls on roster anyway). It’s definitely an annoying bug, for sure.
Ah, yes, Enhanced…forgot to mention that.
I also don’t think the follower is with me. Their tracking icon is still at the dungeon. And if I zone out of that dungeon they are momentarily ‘there’, with me, but doing the “falling animation”. Then they disappear again.

Sigh…*I do not understand why the require you to ‘give up’ a Follower’s gear to ‘Rescue’ them. It’s silly.

Update: I tried your suggestion and luckily the ‘new’ Follower took the place of the one glitched out. The glitched Thrall appeared near my base. \o/
