After days of grinding to get the purge meter above the first threshold the purge “A Clan of Cimmerian Berserkers” (Realy cool to see new purges that are not on the wiki, btw 
) The initial countdown of 10min worked fine and the server had some minor issues (ping 200-800, Server FPS 20-3) which is normal for the server considering its population. But as soon as the purge spawned inside my base (I have a ground base so a bit odd they spawned inside) The server ping went straight down to displaying “2” and giving all players on the server 1020 ping (as confirmed by chat).
I was then not able to kill them off, but they seemed not to be affected by the server freeze which was a bit annoying as they did quite a bit of damage to the base. However the freezing stopped pretty much at the same time purge “failed” (No message) but there was only 2 NPCs left and the marker was gone from the map. This was when the server went back to normal.
After about 15min (trading for mats and repairing my slightly trashed base) A second freeze happened.
No one confirmed it in chat during the freeze, but if a purge spawned as soon as mine was over and the 5 min delay time had gone, that would explain it. This freeze lasted about the same time (As I was writing this).
The player by name “Athena” had a purge attempt to spawn during this time, but ended before it could be initiated with NPC attacks and their bar is still full after it failed.
Additionally I might add that every time a purge has spawned inside my base, it has failed during the first wave, Not sure if this has anything to do with the freezes but thought I might as well throw that in here.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
- Spawn a purge in the (A-B-9-10) area
- Hope it is a “A Clan of Cimmerian Berserkers”
- Pray to Crom the bug happens, or not. I can’t tell you what to pray for
