Server Settings Flip Overnight/With Patches - Last Night Decay Set to Hyper-Speed - Server Specific Bug or General Bug

Type of issue: Server Settings Change Overnight (Decay Went Flipped Into Overdrive - Not Admins)
Server type: PvE (Non-Conflict
Region: USA

In short, I am on a friendly public PvE where admins and people generally play together nicely… since the Update/DLC with horses a number of evenings the Server Settings are getting flipped. Recently, I experienced in less than 12-hours complete disintegration of entire (fairly large) along Newbie River and entire multi-level tower on the southern border of the Northlands. It seems throughout the server numerous others were also affected - to varying degrees. Is this a known issue with recent update? Or something specific to our server - hack or crappy server maintenance.

Specifically, I ask because this has happened with other setting since the most recent update-DLC (Mounts) not for the several months prior.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. It happens at random with various settings… but I am specifically asking whether or not update-patches cause settings to reset or flip setting to massive overdrive (like hyper-rapid decay).

So is this a known common issue or specific to our server providers?

I do own a server as well and I havent had the issues you are describing.

the second quote sounds more like a private server and not like an official one.

Are you sure you are on an official server?

Admin presence is actually more something for a private server… cause public pve server doesn’t make it official…

hence… is the server using any mods?

and could you check out over the setting tab what the decay settings are like? as well as with a repair hammer in game, to see what the value for 1 sandstone foundation is on the timer?
