I’ve never done a server transfer. I have questions:

  • If I’m playing on an online official server on the Exiled Lands and I transfer to The Isle of Siptah online, does my base on the original sever continue to exist? Does it disappear immediately? Does it continue on with decay timers and I need to “log back in” to the original sever with a transfer to refresh my base?
  • Can I transfer a character between single player and online?

why would you transfer to Siptah now? You will get transferred to an exiled server on tuesday. Normally it would go into decay, but as timers are off it won’t.

I don’t think you can transfer from single player to online, but that is all described in the patch notes.

I’m on console. They gave us server transfers but I don’t think we get the EL and Siptah merge for the Enhanced edition. Unless we do?

You are correct that consoles do not get the same EL/Siptah merge that Steam PCs are getting after the weekend. However - consoles are due to be getting some sort of server merge coming up. It’s been announced, but details are still patchy. As far as I understand it, this is more of a ‘merge some servers to reduce overall numbers of empty servers’ rather than an EL/Siptah merge. So, in theory, it should just be EL merging with EL and Siptah merging with Siptah. This could still mean losing building progress on a server if it’s one of the ones going away - but until a list is released, that’s just going to be luck of the draw.
