Server Transfer not working

Hi, I have two own servers once for the normal game and once for the DLC.

Yesterday I wanted to test the function and transfer my character, but the ESC menu does not show me this option and in the single player the option is displayed but I can not COPY the character because the DLC is not selectable.

I also own DLC Ilse of Sitpha, can it be that the transfer function has been deactivated due to the upcoming update 3.0?

Because we had about 50 reports daily how someone is stuck and needs ZenDesk to assist?

How do you know what causes characters to be stuck is simple? I don’t know how their system is coded, no idea if it is a simple fix or they have to rewrite the whole thing.

If you have PC servers, you can add the Amunet Server Transfer mod to your servers. Works very well. Personally, I like how AST mod works over the Funcom server transfer concept (which I did not try but know how it works on official servers). Although I do understand why it works that way.

If you have a non-PC servers, then unfortunately you will have to wait for Funcom to fix the issue and turn it back on.

Please note, even AST once in a while can have a failed transfer. I think its related to servers talking to each other so if the communication somewhere fails then the transfer will not be completed. Its rare it happens, but does happen. No idea on Funcom’s issue though.

Well, actually, as described above, the transfer function should be active on private servers, which it is not.

To the AST mod I have already seen a German walktrough, as long as that apparently does not work officially I will probably have to deal with it.

PS: I greet here from Germany a German forum would be more pleasant to me.

Read the announcement again. Funcom’s transfer is disabled on all servers.
