Many empty servers. Many dirty servers, cleaning does not work, servers are lagging. Give the server with 3 or 1 monthly wipe! Update 10 empty servers to these settings, no one gets hurt, they are already empty!

They had these servers in EA etc no one played them thats why they didnt have them at release. Yes theres alot of empty servers because the game cant handle going past 40 pop they couldnt raise pop cap so they just made heaps of servers open.
We always had a full server, these servers will be clogged.
Well the game itself could probably handle it if the Engine they’re running on could handle it. Until development of Fortnite, UE4 had severe issues handling more than 50 concurrent connections with stable bandwith.
Anyway as @William1980 stated, they existed but were very unpopular so were removed. Doubt they’ll see a rerelease… Maybe they will if the demand for them rises seeing as people now have time to settle in and see the result of not having wipes.
I played on some popular private PVP servers for the last weeks/months. Some of them wipe once a month because it is necessary.
The Conan PVP player mentality is pretty much this: “I try to dominate. If I get crushed by another clan I leave the server and look for a new fresh start somewhere else or wait until next wipe.”
Admins usually wait until the server has half or third pop and announce a fresh wipe. People usually come back and the game repeats. Ofc the harvest rates play a role aswell. The higher the faster this development takes place.
Those servers work. The idea of somewhat constantly repeating wipes is good. But it obviously didn’t work on officials because of more reasons. Private server admins can handle wipes more flexible. On officials you are confronted with exploiters, griefers, greedy folks who think claiming half of the map is a good idea. In addition there are ‘unraidable’ bases (pillar base + bubble + massive T3 land claim vs. jump towers). Those make it pretty much no fun for PVP players that consider raiding a great part of the overall fun. Just check private server’s rules. You’ll see that a lot of them banned avatars + avatar defense and do not allow massive claims around a clan’s base.
And this isn’t even the end of the list. Certainly another reason is the input-output ratio in Conan when it comes to ingame progress but I’ll cut it here.
