Set Antidote unfair

Again, I have no idea what this is supposed to mean. If it’s important, you might want to clarify it.

Whatever it’s supposed to mean, it sounds like your own personal interpretation of the devs’ intentions.

As I’ve already stated, role-playing is optional. I understand it might not be optional for you, but you don’t get to dictate how everyone plays.

And yeah, I understand religion is a factor for many role-players. I also know that the awesome thing about role-playing is that you have a lot of freedom when choosing how to role-play. And if the choice is between you having to change how you role-play and changing the game mechanics for everyone just to accommodate your role-playing choices, guess which one the devs should pick?

Tone is hard to interpret in written text, but this sounds like you’re taking it personally. For what it’s worth, I don’t have a problem role-playing a Set worshiper when I feel like it, just like I don’t have a problem role-playing a Mitra or Yog worshiper.

In fact, the nice thing about role-playing is that it offers so many interesting choices. For example, most people here seem to think worshiping Mitra is a way to play a “good guy”, but I could decide to play a Mitraist zealot who dedicates his life to unending persecution and extermination of Asurans. Or I could play a Zathite alchemist who dedicates his life to helping people stay healthy and procreate, because he believes that every human is a strand in Zath’s web.

You did not complain about poison, and I did not claim you did so. You complained about the antidote, and then you also complained about snake arrows.

The only potion I mentioned was Berserker’s Draught. Either you got carried away and copied the same reply you wrote to others, or you have no idea what Berserker’s Draught does and didn’t even bother to check, or to even read my post properly (which would be ironic, since you keep chiding people for “not reading” your post).

Berserker’s Draught most definitely does not cure poison. That was not why I mentioned it. Had you bothered to “actually read the post before going selfish and expressing your personal preference”, you would have understood that I was showcasing different advantages that different religions have.

You mean your immersion factor is “miserably murdered” by the fact that drinking alcohol provokes hangover?

A giff, heh, I guess it is to be expected. No, my immersion factor is miserably murdered when I have no access to the cure for hangovers other than follow up on brutality and desecration. I shall leave you with the last word, the futility of this argument tires me.

p.s. I never said berserker potion cures hang overs, maybe reading the post thoroughly would help.

I edited the post so it is crystal clear, folk won’t get confused now, point taken.

Oh, that’s rich. The person who misspells words, doesn’t understand the value of splitting text into paragraphs or sometimes even sentences, and who couldn’t make it clear that his post is about hangovers is getting snobby about using one reaction gif.

Mind you, I would not have brought any of that up, because it’s not actually that important, but if you’re gonna get pissy and supercilious about communication, at least have the decency to take care of your own first.

No, what you said was this:

The only potion I ever mentioned in this whole thread is the Berserker’s Draught. So, Mr. Nobody-Knows-To-Read-Except-Me, which potion did I mention about curing poison? And if I didn’t mention any potion about curing poison, then why are you bringing that up in your reply to me?

Maybe not being hostile to everyone who doesn’t agree to you on a public forum would help.

The only reason this discussion is futile is because of the way you’re acting. :man_shrugging:

Just farm a weapon with “Plundering”.
It removes all stacks of poison on equip and and like infinite antidote.

Think this one will be perfect for you.

Why is it so damn hard to find people like you in a place like this. Thank you, that is the best possible solution, you are a gem amongst coals, thank you so very much.

I actually own a few, but i was looking at Nortis and Maelstrom for the damage and completely overlooked this item.

It’s sorta funny that Zath doesn’t have an alcohol instant wipe tincture.
Considering that the cult is obsessive in its focus on sobriety (from most earthly drugs and drinks at least).

This one agrees the placement of certain favours seems so bizarre it is down right nonsensical.

But then again, given how very little boozes is required to get one to intoxicated enough for a hang over… We must assume that exile is of such frail constitution that their own survival on the cross (or surviving the wreck if they are on Siptah) is equally nonsensical.

Is there a recipe for Curative Mixtures in the game?
If not, that seems a very sad oversight.

Vast majority of everyday posters here don’t play the game anymore or more interested in redditor like win of a discussion than anything.

I keep Derketo and Zath for reasons.

Definitely not armor reasons. :smirk:

Obsessively bent on winning a mute point, ad-hominem attacks, etc, yeah, but there is you =]

Oh, I have no intention to try to dismantle your self-inflicted delusion. Feel free to interpret the Exiled Mitraen rituals the way you wish.

But, since you’re this good at explaining things your way in your head, I’m sure you’ll figure out a role-playing solution to interact with the Setite religion without breaking your immersion and get all the antidotes you’ll ever need.

I am, however, somewhat curious about what seems to me like an excessively hostile response to my post. I do not remember any previous interactions between us that would justify such a reaction. Have I done something to you in the past, or do you just always react in an aggressive manner towards people with a different perspective? Honest question, with no offense intended.
