I play in a PVE server - #4521. Today, when I logged back to the game, I noticed that several thralls were not present anymore.
Did you check the event log and your followers list? Perhaps they just got miss placed.

Do hey still show I’m the Thralls list?
If they do, you could mark them to appear on the map, just to make sure they are still around.
Earlier, after purge hit one of my outposts, one of my thralls was half way bellow foundations level.
