The base has been build live:

Exterior

Inner area

Main hall

Sorcery room

Kitchen/Bar

There lots of other functional rooms… but maybe I screenshot them later.

No mods used, just tricks.

Sneak peak of my next non-modded build. I call this one the Necromancer Castle.

Looks good, but needs more of the dead trees. :ghost:

Hi all! Please find below a minimal outpost, no mods, just base game, DLC, flavored with BLB stuff… Cheers!

Well done on your pillar fence. I attempted this once, its a lot of work. Looks great!

Is not so hard if you use stable pillars when you lay the walls… They have such a narrow collision box that allow for quite close placement. You can upgrade them later to your preference, however be aware that this step is irreversible as the result is extremely tight… Cheers!

That’s the best way for sure. It just became tedious for me :joy:

One small hint. Don’t do Barden tricks on official servers with pillars. The system for some reason find difficulty to recognize and everything above ceilings may loose stability and disappear. But in your server or single player do as you wish. You can recover loss in zero time.

If you extend and connect with the ground the corner pillars they get their own stability and become loadbearing. Is tricky but doable.

Thanks for the tip :metal:, yet try to be a vanilla builder in official servers or else prepare for loss, that’s my tip for you m8 . Especially Siptah servers are reacting funny on glitch builds.

Started playing again to help bypass the torturous last few days before baldur’s gate 3 is released. At the time of taking these screenshots I hadn’t reached lvl 14 yet and therefore couldn’t build an artisan bench so no decorations else it’d look a lot less sparse.

Still trying to figure out where exactly i’ll put the treasure hoard… probably on the second floor as the top floor is only 3x3 while the level below is 3x6.

Whatever you choose to do things, I like it

Well, I figured since this character is Zamorian, I’d aim for a kind of cross between a tower a la the Tower of the Elephant and the remote nature of something like Xantia’s mountain fortress. Lots of walled courtyards surrounding the main tower.

EDIT: Decoration has finally begun, though still rudimentary in nature.
