The reason I didn’t reply, is because that test is flat-out stupid and I was trying to avoid making you feel bad for suggesting it… :man_shrugging:

Like, if you want to obtain a certain result so badly, then we could just go and take away the weapons from the thralls, no?

You’re already trying to create a “fair test” where the thralls can’t have your weapon that does 38 more raw damage… and you would do the only swing that has a massive 2.5x internal multiplier.

Then you try to compare that to a thrall, but NOT in DPS as one would expect… nope… rather in individual hits. So if the poor thrall decides to do light attacks and get in 3 of them by the time you do a single swing, that doesn’t count  That’s 3 hits for him 1 for you… so your test is… slightly… “rigged”.

However, because of the current dodge mechanic, you actually CAN kill a spider boss sufficiently fast to where it’s comparable, since it only has about 5k hp… and the thrall is unreliable in very short bursts… It can actually kill it super fast, even in a single combo if all of them land properly… so ~5 seconds… if he misses an attack or doesn’t get it in one combo then it will be twice as much… so too much RNG there.

Overall it’s just a bad test, I can do it 10 times and get 10 different results and the human can only even compete because of rolling thrust, otherwise there would be nothing to even talk about as doing your 5-6 hits needed would take you much longer

On a different note though, to address the rest of your comments…
You’re acting like you’re somehow the only one in the world who can play this game… and the internal mechanics of the game don’t apply to you because you’re somehow “above them”…

Several times now you had instances where you kept claiming pure and absolute bullshit as facts…
I went along with it in a polite way and entertained your claims, even when I knew they’re incorrect from the beginning… like for example when you were claiming that your purge archer thrall has some kind of “magical secret” mechanic making it stronger and able to do more damage than your dalinsia or RHTS, when that simply wasn’t the case…

I could’ve told you then as well that you’re full of shit… instead what did I do?
I asked that you provide screenshots of your thralls… I actually spent quite a lot of time and recreated them with all of their stats and perks ingame… and tested them, recording video evidence for you…

The reason I went out of my way to do these things was because I considered you in general a nice and friendly person on the forums, so I thought it’s worth the extra effort to try and get through to you, instead of just saying you’re wrong and ignoring any rebuttals.

If anything, I should be the one upset here, because throughout all these interactions you were just being ignorant and acting all stubborn and pigheaded about it, even after seeing evidence…

Anyway, it’s whatever…

It might surprise you… but you’re not the only person on these forums who plays Conan Exiles… if you must know I have about 3 thousand hours as a player in the game too and have been playing since early access 2017…

But… like I pointed out many times to you… anecdotal “fishing stories” of your glorious deeds in the game are kind of hard to utilize as objective data to base useful information on… which is why we prefer numbers for that…

And finally no, there was nothing twisted and there was no “playing with words” happening… here’s what happened exactly… and it’s there for everyone to see.

  • You made a black and white claim that “The player hits harder than any thrall”
  • I posted evidence that even with the player “cheating” and utilizing the best conditions, it still doesn’t hit as hard as certain thralls atm.
  • You then tried to backtrack and move the goalpost implying that you weren’t talking about damage numbers, but rather this abstract concept which we can sort of express by saying “the player is a better player than the thrall…” (like… doh… nobody was debating that… )
But sure… I’m sure everybody else here also thought that we were going to compare their idk… self-awareness… when you said “the player hits harder”…

We can tell…
Bye
