The Sign of Jhebbal Sagg, when actually summoning the werewolf, spawns it under the ground sometimes.
It also only spawns werewolf no matter the beast. Tested on wolves, hyenas, werehyenas, giant crocodile (from southwest the savanna. It spawns a werewolf and a dire/undead wolf). Giant bugs and scorpions are totally unaffected by the sign, they walk on it and nothing happens.
From the werewolf you also get just feral flesh and wolf hides, and one single shadebloom, no matter what tool you use to harvest it. I mean, the item to be crafted costs 20 alchemical bases and 100 brimstones on top of the sacred blood, not the cheapest thing ever for one single shadebloom.
