Server Name: Gameforce Gaming
Mods: none
Bug Description:
This one is new since the update June 11, 2026. A friend owns a server and has several (open) transportory stones (so these were not built by me, I don’t own them). When using a transportory stone from his base at Stargazers Crest to his base at Rhinohorn Ridge upon arriving at Rhinohorn my character sank through the transportory stone and through the foundations it was built on. He had to come online to rescue me by removing the transportory stone. He rebuilt the platform it was sitting on and the transportory stone. We tested again: I went to Stargazers Crest then came back Same thing: sank through and couldn’t extract myself. He had to remove the transportory stone again. He has now rebuilt and left it turned off until it is patched.
Bug Reproduction:
Go to the transportory stone at Rhinohorn Ridge. Go to Stargazers Crest. Wait for corruption to disappear. Go back to Rhinohorn Ridge. Make sure you don’t own any of these transportory stones. Good luck extracting yourself
What building material was used? I had the same problem and had to remove my portal. I decided to remove some of the stonebrick foundations and replace them with ceiling pieces and then saw this: Maybe we get stuck in the difference?
All foundations, you cannot place a transportory stone on ceilings/pillars, we tested with sandstone and stormglass, same effect, the player fell under the teleporter inside the foundations
Do you by any chance have the stygian portal? Someone on my server has that and I been using his portals without any problem while I keep having problems with mine.
yes, this just started after today’s update for me on Official 1504. happened twice in a 10 minute time frame. others on the server have also reported this happening on various foundation types. Tried logging out and in again and still stuck. removing bracelet just leaves your corpse below the stone and without map markers cannot even summon my corpse. luckily i was able to delete the foundations without dropping the transportory stone. but this needs fixed quickly. I also reported it via their help page.
This started happening for us too after the patch on Tuesday and then it magically seemed to be fixed yesterday as we were using it a lot all day and this morning and now twice tonight it’s happened. It’s an expensive fix since we only get back 1/3 of the mats from destroying it and we’ve now had to replace 4.
You can and right now you should only place transportory stones on ceilings with a room underneath, because the result is you fall through the ceiling and land in the room under the transportory stone.
We need to look at the timing here since “falling through foundations” bug was supposed to be fixed in latest update, but there was a moment when they rolled back the update due to other bugs for one day. So yesterday we still had a game version where the bug existed.
Did this happen AFTER the latest patch? hotfix 1.2.1?
1.2.1 was supposed to have fixed an issue that resembles this.
Yes can absolutely still happen, its rare now, today i only got stuck one time, but that was while we were out fixing our teleporters to be placed on ceilings instead of foundations, so we had to take that one down anyway.
Confirmed about not using someone else’s teleporters. I don’t have transportory stones unlocked yet and am/was using the ones built by a friend… who fortunately for me was online when I fell through and couldn’t get out.
And yes, this is definitely happening in 1.2.1. I filed a bug report about this yesterday, and I think at least one other person responding to this thread did.
I’ve poked the rest of the team about this so they can investigate further. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we look into this issue.
I suspect someone fiddled with the coordinates of the player when they arrive at a portal because originally it was usually higher and you dropped down a bit when it you arrived. If that is the case, someone is not testing stuff…again.
