I have some questions regarding the upcoming enhanced release with transferring my Siptah character. Assuming server transfers get turned back on before the 5th. In the dev blog for the announcement it says:
The best option for Isle of Siptah players is to prepare for the UE5 update by dismantling their bases and depositing the materials in the inventories of their followers prior to the Official server downtime on May 4th, 15:00 UTC. If they are in a clan, it is recommended they leave the clan and use the thrall and pet trading posts to transfer ownership of followers to their individual characters. Once the update to UE5 happens, they will be moved to an Exiled Lands server, along with their followers, at which point they can make their way back to the Isle of Siptah to rebuild.
Alternatively, players can simply wait until the update, at which point their characters will be migrated via Server Merge to an Exiled Lands server, maintaining character level, progress, followers, and inventory, but dropping them at a new character spawn point in the Exiled Lands. Please note that, with this option, bases will be lost and players will not retain the materials to rebuild.We will post a mapping of which Exiled Lands servers each Isle of Siptah server is being merged to, so that players can find their new servers.
First question, there is an exiles land server I already have a character on and that is where I want my Siptah character to go. Can I just transfer the Siptah character there or does that established exiles character need to be deleted?
2nd question, I am in a clan there on Siptah but they don’t play anymore so I can’t use the trading posts for thralls. I assume if I leave the clan to transfer I lose access to the followers correct?
3rd question. If its the case I lose access to the clan followers, I could just leave the clan and place down new ones prior to transferring and fill them up with loot I want to take over. Question is, HOW MANY CAN I HAVE THAT WILL MOVE OVER? It says once the update happens you will be moved to an exiled lands server along with your followers, but how many is that? One? Two? All of them? I need to know so I can decide what I’m able to bring.
UPDATE: My transfer was a success. Yes I needed to delete the existing exiles character before transferring the siptah one which I did. I had a buddy hold my exiles loot until I could get the siptah one over. I was able to transfer with followers after leaving the siptah clan and placing them down, but it only let me place 64 not 65 for some reason. My buddy came to siptah first with a new character, I dumped on him 65 followers worth of loot plus 65 camels, I left my clan, made a new one, then took possession of the base he made to hold my loot, kicked him from that clan making me solo owner, placed the camels and filled them up, left the clan and transferred over with no problems.
it’s amazing how silent they are being, and yet we have only 9 days left. really want more communication. some decisions should of been solidified earlier and not rushed.
Q1 is a very good question. What if we have a junk low level character on that exiles land server but our siptah character got moved to that server. For example I have my favorite character highest unlocks on a siptah server. Say it gets moved to a exiles lands server That I have a character i dont care about. What character do I get or Keep? Can or should I delete the exiles land one before the update? I would be so dishearted to find out that I lose my siptah character due to having a character on this exiles land server. Please admin post the details on servers soon so we can delete character if need be.

Ya Im going to go ahead and just prep my exiles land character for deletion so I can port over my Siptah character. I’m in the same boat as you my Siptah character is the one I have all the unlocks on it. My buddy wants to get the game after I showed him the new update so he gunna help me this week store the loot that I have on the exiles map so when I move my Siptah character over I have stuff to rebuild. But ya we need more details the blog the posted was vague
i am sitting on packed camels on siptah and el , waiting for the transfer to be turned on again. If they had announced the update when the transfer was introduced, I wouldn’t have transferred at all and waited for the update.
If you are who I think you are I hope you realize that our two bases are like the only OGs still standing on that siptah server. Your LOTR tower and my leyshrine have been there since the beginning. It’s actually been so long since i’ve walked around the server I didn’t even notice you built that giant pyramid.
I bet you also have an insane amount of pre-nerf legacy items too. I was clearing out my chests getting ready and oh my god the history. I have just about everything you can imagine with pre-nerf damage stats, a void forged mace with a kit on it, and like an entire chest of xx_decapheads
As someone who also has a good many pre-nerf weapons I’m curious to see if said weapons retain their current stats or if they get converted to be the same as current weapons in the changeover.
If they do get converted to normal then oh well I guess. I would even support it if it makes the servers run better and/or more stable.
Yep its me. I built the pyramid so I could dump all the loot from all my different bases there and put the game in maintenance mode. Never got around to finishing that job but doesn’t matter now anyways lol. Unfortunately I havent had the chance yet to go through what I want to bring over, but It’ll def be the rarest stuff. My buddy just got the game in anticipation of the update so he is gunna help me transfer stuff over now that transfers are back on. I think I can get a couple trips in before the 5th. Im basically gunna have to dump loot on him that he can hold for me while I make the trips. Im thinking I can get maybe 5% of my hoard that way but if not its no big deal. I’m gunna do a playthrough with him on the enhanced game but I don’t intend to put as much as hours in as I used to. I am hearing people are getting errors trying to transfer today so I hope it actually works
