Siptah update bug on Steam

Steam forces an update every time I switch between the accounts, one with Siptah, one without. It’s always 509 MB whenever I switch to account with Siptah, and it makes it hard for using alt characters. It can be prevented by locking the appmanifest file but then mod updates on workshop don’t work properly…Sorta a double edged sword this issue is.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Have 2 Steam accounts on a same PC with purchased game fully, 1 with Siptah, 1 without Siptah
  2. Logout of non-Siptah account
  3. Login to Siptah account
  4. The update will be 509 MB everytime that is done because appmanifest file changes for some reason and Steam removes small amount of Siptah files and then redownloads when logging back to Siptah account
