I too uninstalled and reinstalled. Same error.

Having run into this issue now several times since the last major update on my own server, I have found a couple of areas that it randomly happens to me. The first time was when I was building something in creative so I thought I had placed something down that caused it. After having a friend with admin privileges delete everything, the problem remained.

Due to the fact that this is my server I had the convenience of having a trustworthy friend on that I could trust with admin privileges. He had to step away from the area and as I was logging in he would have to teleport to his location. Every time I would still get one last crash report, but I would be able to log in fine on the next launch.

Today, we got to test our theory as when I was running through a river and ran past a small camp, I crashed with the same report again. We spent quite a bit of time testing around the area. Each time I’d crash they would teleport me out and I could log back in. Once, I died and was able to log back in having been in a different location. Another time my character just kept running in one direction which took me out of the zone.

It seems no other players are affected by this in my server. However, in every case I was able to get back in by my character being moved to a different location, whether by dying or being teleported. Hope that helps some.

I keep getting this, too. It started happening after I picked up blood crystals for the first time, and I think it’s triggered when I get too close to a Khitan sorcery vendor location.

these are the error codes

When I try to play on the island, I couldn’t find a solution. Game Mode: Single Player

Update your video drivers. I did the NVidia update, and the problem resolved itself.

just happened to me into SP (new game after reinstalling) Exile Lands map while passing Chaosmouth, so it is not only Siptah related as i wrote earlier ^^ into this thread.
Video drivers are updated.

Same issue as those above. I am on the base game map, no mods. Video drivers are up to date.

Okay, here is something that i did today wich helped me resolve this bug (for now, atleast):

-Locate your engine.ini file, wich is normally on the following path “C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/ConanExiles/ConanSandbox/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor/Engine.ini”

-open it with notepad or something to edit it.

-add this line at the end of it, without the quotation marks “[/script/engine.audiosettings] bDisableMasterEQ=True”

-save and try to start your save

I found this on an older post in the official wiki, as a fix to a crash caused by amd cpus or realtek onboard audio. Since i do have realtek onboard audio, i gave it a try and didnt encountered the fatal error today. Maybe i got lucky, maybe it does fix this issue. I hope it also works for you guys, best of luck!

I am also having this issue. Have uninstalled mods, issue continues.

Thanks! I will try this today. I am guessing it will work as I do have an AMD cpu. I will post my results when time allows.

Same problem here after maybe a week of playing on my unmodded single player. It always crashes at D5 near the south exit of the unnamed city.

Steam finds one corrupted file and downloads it again but the crash still always happens.

Bump

i have the same problem

Sandbox Game has crashed and will close

Fatal error

Just going to toss my hat in and mention I’ve also had this same crash mentioning bountyhunter_pot in that same general area. I was running along the river in E5 or possibly F6 when it happened. I have since moved further north and haven’t been down that way for a while and also haven’t experienced that crash again so far.

Single player, no mods.

Попробуйте в файле “DefaultEngine” который расположен “…ConanSandbox\Config” заменить данные строки, раньше тоже была такая же ошибка но после замены данных строк её теперь нету.

Строка:
[/Script/Engine.GarbageCollectionSettings]
gc.MaxObjectsInGame=7400000
gc.MaxObjectsNotConsideredByGC=52000
; FUNCOM-NC BEGIN. adjusted the permanent objects pool (in BYTES) as indicated by warning in FUObjectAllocator::BootMessage when starting the game. this is unrelated to MaxObjects.
gc.SizeOfPermanentObjectPool=15000000

Try in the “DefaultEngine” file “…ConanSandbox\Config” replace these lines, earlier there was also the same error, but after replacing these lines it is now gone now.

Line:

Made the changes to my DefaultEngine config file and i still crashed with the same error code.

I changed file DefaultEngine content as adviced ^^ above in @AveDominusNox post (thanks for advice! but) unfortunately it didn’t work for me. Would be nice to have at least a hint from FC what could be a culprit in said situation… I am trapped into my base on Siptah (Official online PVE server) due to this error - as soon as i leave base gates and even turn face to Riverwatch Keep direction screen freezes and game crashes again. The same with my SP, both maps.

I got the same error.
I don’t have mods installed, I checked the game files and the error persisted, so I reinstalled Conan, but I still have the problem. It only happens on the Isle of Siptah map.
What can I do to fix it?

Just happened to me again while riding across the savanna at G7/H7. Had just passed Swagger Rock and the Ruins of Al’Merayah camp was just coming into view when the BountyHunter_pot said “No, you ain’t allowed to do that because I want cooked packages!”

Just out of curiosity, are you folks using a stock client configuration or do you have your own customizations in Engine.ini and/or Scalability.ini?
