On PvE official 1020, I approach the snake priest in the volcano dungeon and the fight begins with shades spawning and the barrier around the priest. The priest raises his staff and seems to be up to his knees in the foundation. After the shades are killed, the barrier drops and the snake priest is not there. No snake priest, no trapezohedron. I thought maybe he just fell through the floor or something, but it counts the journey step counts as complete.
This happened to me yesterday as I was searching for the trapezohedron to complete the game, so I went back to the volcano today and tried again- same thing.
I tried relogging, because sometimes when things fall through the floor this helps to put them back on the surface. When I relogged, the barrier around the snake priest’s throne was back up but no snake priest or shades spawned.
I tried to fight him on single player, and after the barrier went down he was there as he should be, I killed him and looted the trapezohedron.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
- On an official PvE server, go into the volcano dungeon and fight the snake priest’s shades.
- After shades are killed, barrier goes down but the priest is not there so you cannot kill it or loot the trapezohedron.
