I’d be all for it, lol! Particularly as an early-craftable set of clothing. Maybe like reptile hide from the crocs. I seem to recall some mods offering stuff like this, but I’m not sure that they are specifically snake-skin

We get repitle armour but it’s a pain and a grind!
The island to the east on river has enough snakes to clothe a couple of tribes. I would go for snake skin.

The game doesn’t make any differences between hides from snakes, crocodiles or any other reptiles.
And there already is a bikini in the game. It’s golden but if you dye it green it makes a snake bikini.

I’d say a few variant for dancers would be more welcome.
Again, I;m in favor of a all races Dancer thralls DLC Pack the includes dancer clothes from many of races.

Why not make a set of crocodile skin gloves with a purse attached to it witch gives +15 encumbrance.

This would be an okay idea, but what about something similar for colder climates, like a fur version? Maybe made using fur and wolf pelt.

I did put In a separate post… What would be neat if clothing a nd armour would match the skins you took from the animal.
Like tiger striped/ Black patherml/ rhino skin etc… Or at least have that option.
I think there should be more clothing with better environmental protection but with less armour protection.

Why only a female clothing item? I’m against only one gender getting a new outfit. The item should be call a binki. How about tribe clothing. Both genders wear it. This way it is gender neutral.
Why a purse and not a bag? This is Conan Exiles. Not an avatar base game with 1000 clothing and accessories.
Also a bag makes the clothing gender neutral.
ALL clothing items in Conan Exiles can be equipped by male and female characters. This includes, but is certainly not limited to the Bejewelled armours. That is good enough. We do not need more political correctness or diversity politics in a Conan game. The male barbarians of the Hyborian world need not wear ‘bikini tops’. There is The Sims 4 for that.

Agreed with your post here in full: Let’s keep the political correctness disease firmly in the Electronic Arts camp, please (and unfortunately now in CDProject Red. Sadface).
This sort of nonsense doesn’t at all belong in the Conan IP. I’m certainly glad it’s not currently present in this game and truly hope that fact continues for the duration of it.

Thankyou Timmercado. And believe me that respect is completely mutual buddy. I firmly believe that the forum and for that matter the game should remain an idelogically neutral medium. I dont want to see messages or changes from either side of the spectrum added to this game. Conan should remain Conan. I have seen threads closed down fast and hard for getting into political issues on the forum, and I would hate to see poor 08wax08’s thread get closed and unlisted because of it.

What I would say… I actually specify it was for just women… However the female clothing works differently to male clothing so the male ‘snake skin bikini’ would have a male counterpart… Maybe some kind of lyon cloth or kilt with a cool cobra headed necklace.
I agree keep the political correctness out of it…
There is enough in the chacter creation though to make a more feminine man or a mor masculine woman if that’s what you want…
If you want to go pretend about the neutrality of your chacters gender nobody is gonna stop you.
Me personally… Although ‘amazons’ are not directly mentioned in the conan exiles lore…being male I role play as an amazon warrior who is female… Again I do this in my head whilst not strictly on a role playing server… A pvp server…
a pinch of imagination goes a long way…

Well that depends on how you play… There are servers just dedicated to RP where others are dedicated to conquest.
One thing I’d like to see is clothing having more benefits to the player but having little or no armour value.
For example the heat resistance for a snake skin out fit… Like one piece to give you at least two bars in temperature resistance.
Or maybe a snake skin outfit would give you resistance to poiesen.
Or a fur jacket that actually keeps you warm.
I quite like the idea of a bag system as well…
A backpack that gives you a hidiuous amount ot encumbrance but takes up at least one armour slot…
I mean I’ve never made the rough clothing at the start because there is actually no point to it…
It doesn’t serve any real benefit.
