I did put In a separate post… What would be neat if clothing a nd armour would match the skins you took from the animal.

Like tiger striped/ Black patherml/ rhino skin etc… Or at least have that option.
I think there should be more clothing with better environmental protection but with less armour protection.

Also a bag makes the clothing gender neutral.

ALL clothing items in Conan Exiles can be equipped by male and female characters. This includes, but is certainly not limited to the Bejewelled armours. That is good enough. We do not need more political correctness or diversity politics in a Conan game. The male barbarians of the Hyborian world need not wear ‘bikini tops’. There is The Sims 4 for that.

Agreed with your post here in full: Let’s keep the political correctness disease firmly in the Electronic Arts camp, please (and unfortunately now in CDProject Red. Sadface).

This sort of nonsense doesn’t at all belong in the Conan IP. I’m certainly glad it’s not currently present in this game and truly hope that fact continues for the duration of it.

Thankyou Timmercado. And believe me that respect is completely mutual buddy. I firmly believe that the forum and for that matter the game should remain an idelogically neutral medium. I dont want to see messages or changes from either side of the spectrum added to this game. Conan should remain Conan. I have seen threads closed down fast and hard for getting into political issues on the forum, and I would hate to see poor 08wax08’s thread get closed and unlisted because of it.

What I would say… I actually specify it was for just women… However the female clothing works differently to male clothing so the male ‘snake skin bikini’ would have a male counterpart… Maybe some kind of lyon cloth or kilt with a cool cobra headed necklace.
I agree keep the political correctness out of it…
There is enough in the chacter creation though to make a more feminine man or a mor masculine woman if that’s what you want…
If you want to go pretend about the neutrality of your chacters gender nobody is gonna stop you.
Me personally… Although ‘amazons’ are not directly mentioned in the conan exiles lore…being male I role play as an amazon warrior who is female… Again I do this in my head whilst not strictly on a role playing server… A pvp server…
a pinch of imagination goes a long way…

Well that depends on how you play… There are servers just dedicated to RP where others are dedicated to conquest.

One thing I’d like to see is clothing having more benefits to the player but having little or no armour value.
For example the heat resistance for a snake skin out fit… Like one piece to give you at least two bars in temperature resistance.
Or maybe a snake skin outfit would give you resistance to poiesen.

Or a fur jacket that actually keeps you warm.
I quite like the idea of a bag system as well…
A backpack that gives you a hidiuous amount ot encumbrance but takes up at least one armour slot…

I mean I’ve never made the rough clothing at the start because there is actually no point to it…
It doesn’t serve any real benefit.

The point I’m making gender neutral items and clothing or Armors makes Conan Exiles balances for all genders. I hate games that only offer the skimpy armors to females. Males deserve skimpy Armors too.

I think we were just talking bikini…cause bikini. Not cause we want “only” a bikini. It was just subject of new armor. I don’t think anyone implied it was female only really.

It can be called Snake Skin Attire for all I care. It was just discussion for more fun clothes, or in general to give Dancers wider range of outfits.

Conan exiles pretty my has the same armour for male and females… In fact when you look at the two armour sets of the same type in comparison the male counterparts seem to actually show a little bit more flesh than the female ones!

I wasn’t suggesting by any means that the ‘snake skin bikini’ would be exculisvly female.
To clarify the snake skin outfit would be something like a bikini top (with cobra head necklace) a thong for the bottom part
Wrist wrappings with fangs on the out side for arms.
Feet wrappings where the toes and ankle are exposed.
And a snakeskin ‘sweat band’ with more teeth on it.

For the male counterpart a fanged necklace with snak skull for the upper.
Lyon cloth or kilt for the lower and similar arm, feet and head band…

Because I suggested one doesn’t negate the other.

If you don’t like Thoes kind of games don’t play them, nobody is forcing you too… but should you really want to stop other people that enjoy them, enjoying them?

@Croms_Faithful you sir make me smile. I dont wanna dog pile, but in the current ehhhh media/entertainment era I do want to make sure the devs are privy to my opinion. My opinion is less pc is more in Conan.

Not sure if 5th level trolling is happening, if it is I get it, sometimes I really want to stir the pot too. But I can assure you if we got snake skin boob holders that same set would probably offer up the oppertunity to wear banana hammocks. This game really doesnt discriminate against the dong, unless youre us playstation but that’s not funcom.

So on topic? Sure snake skin bikinis. Sure snake skin banana hammocks. Hell make um g strings in the back, ive got a cute butt. Im never opposed to spicying up my base.

Off topic tho? Can we get some more hair options? I mean im being coy, you all know I just want more beards to choose from. You told me to make noise about it in the sand and blood livestream!

i have no arguments with anything said.

i too would like to see animal textured scantily clad gear, be able to change the gear buffs with a potion, as well as the ability to change hair, makeup in-game. would also like the ability to assign the dances / emotes my entertainers or other thralls do. now if i need to go out and learn the dance / function first, that’s fine, because that’s playing. the function would have fighter, archer, pet thralls walk about / patrol an area.
