So, after several hours of grinding out Khitan Exiled Slavers for the Dogs to get enough to buy the 2000 token recipe, I get the Scavenger Fur Armor recipe, an eldarium garbage armor schematic I can get from Siptah… Well played. To verify. I did the next logical choice, I went into a solo admin save, low and behold… it’s still the same garbage recipe.
Yep, it’s the exact same recipe. Might have been semi-useful before EL and Siptah were connected but rather pointless from an event now that anyone can delve it.
I find it absolutely wild that I’m finding little mention of this anywhere. The Khitan Slaver armor outfit is vastly better than this trash Scavenger-Fur armor. It has a unique appearance and incredible stats. On the other hand this Scavenger-Fur armor is a straight up dog water move pulled in a time when Funcom needs wins. Is anyone else going to howl at the moon over this nonsense?
Thank you so much for telling me about this. I’ve been farming this blood for two days to get a “new” armor recipe… This is, of course, very sad and a shame on the designers who couldn’t come up with something new for an event that only happens once a year!
Is this the ‘Ferine Armor’ under discussion, or is there also the Scavenger Fur as another option?

Cool. Then at least the Ferine Armor might be worth something. I guess I’ll see after I finally get enough Obolus together to get the couple of schematics I want there first - then I can switch to the Dogs side and see if I can get the Ferine sorted in time.

Helm: AC 116, HP 28, Strength 5
Chest: AC 202, HP 28, Agility 8 (This might make it worth it)
Gloves : AC 58 HP 28 Strength 5
Legs: AC 145, HP 28, Agility 5
Feet: AC 58, HP 28, Strength 5
I will concede the chest might be the only reason to farm for the 8 Agility. If the full set was 8 agility per piece this would be a superior reward. If the Armor visually wasnt ripped from basic Hyena fur armor if be worth the Mog. If it wasn’t available as a delve recipe or rng 5x schematic combine it would be special. This seems lazy. Especially considering the freedom to make feral looking armor.
The ferine has no stats beyond armor class but it does have a unique look. I’d say it was meant for illusion’ing.
The scavenger-fur has the same look as hyena fur armor. It’s not horrible overall imo but as a grindy event reward I would have preferred something I didn’t already have.
Buffs are needed then for this armor.
