Cannot connect - host lost

Hi.

I want to play with a friend on Steam and I cannot join his solo game. The problem is the same when he tries to join mine.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Launch Conan Exiles
  2. Start the solo mode
  3. Invite friend - “Tente de rejoindre la partie”
  4. The invited one get a error message - host lost
    “Connection au serveur impossible. Votre connexion avec l’hébergeur a été perdue.”

Does anyone has this problem? Few weeks we started a game and it was fine.

yeah, it does freaky things in co-op
go dedicated server if you want any kind of multiplayer

I saw there was an app on Steam “Dedicated server”. Is it free or should we pay for a server?

don’t know about steam, but in link in my previous post you have free software that allows easy setup for your own server client, be it on a PC, VM or whatever machine you want

but you can rent a server sure, plenty of providers out there
