Ever since the Headhunter event started I’m no longer capable of exchanging treasures at my treasure chest. Also, Liu Fei is bugged as well. He comes out of his pungent flower to claim it takes energy to remain but I can no longer advance the dialog. While I know there’s probably no one taking care of Conan to check this, I still hope these will be resolved. I know, I know, wishful thinking…

The event should have nothing to do with the coffer.

The one condition that I can think of when the coffer stops exchanging is if you do not have sufficient slots remaining. The coffer has a maximum of 100 slots, and if exchanging your treasure would produce more coins than the coffer has room for, it will just ignore your attempt without any sort of error message.

I only have 100 gold in the coffer and I cannot exchange the five gems in it… The option to exchange is greyed out.

Can you post a screenshot of your coffer’s inventory? Maybe the problem can be seen, or I can try to replicate it.

The first screenshot is the content of my chest while the second shows the surrounding treasures.

I think I know the issue. Pearls are the first item in your coffer, so when you attempt to exchange, they are selected by default, but you do not have enough pearls to exchange, as they are only worth 1/10th of a gold coin (for some nonsensical reason), so the exchange button is disabled.

Select one of the other items in the list and it should be enabled for them.

Removing the pearls did the trick. Thanks Tephra. However, Fey Liu not working at the exact time the Headhunter event started is eerily coincidential, thus me tracing a possible link between the two.
