My suggestion would be a pick up option.

I think (part of) this is answered here:

I Cannot pick up my pets

To clarify: You can pick up and move a deployed pet. You cannot pick up and put it back in your inventory however. If by “pick-up” you meant putting it away, that is indeed not possible because it would cause a lot of coding issues.
