Yes they did. Back then the map was smaller and devs assumed that people would get bored easy. Then again that people will play their pvp the athletic way.
None of both happened, unfortunately!
People loved the game for the grinding part and the building part, so blitz servers had no reason back then. Especially when you needed a month to go lvl 60.
The game we play now has almost no difficulty of the past. A greater hyena could cause you nightmares… Remember !
Then again people was discovering the game back then, the whole of it, now the game is known and easy.
Let’s do a test brother! Name any pve server you wish. I will jump and start playing 3 hours per day. If i have a lvl 60 character there, i will recreate character. I will play for a month and then deliver it to you to tell me what’s missing and if i have any reason to continue playing there.

People know my pet peeves. My opinion periodic server wipes are a necessity to maintain good server performance. The biggest cause of server lag is hoarding.
Anyone remember the bug we had were when certain people logged in everyone on the server dropped through their foundations? ya, that was a hoarder logging in. It was a bug that has since been fixed, but think about it. One person has amassed such a hoard of content they drop the serve to it’s knees when they log in.
I’m not saying that too much hoarding is a good thing - in our clan, the only chest with solo-type material was the one for stone, and it was never full.
But please don’t use a bug in the code that unnecessarily overloads the servers as an argument.
Imho there are more such bugs / bad decisions - why can’t a player’s base be stored in memory for example ? Just during the time when he is online. This way when I go hunting around the base it gets loaded several times unnecessarily every time I accidentally go out of rendering distance etc …
The bug just sort of drove home the issue server wide.
Waiting to see what happens this month, but ARK: Ascended is on sale for the price point I put on it, and I know a friendly private server.

And just for you know for own a dino you can tame or breed and people are breeding dinos all time for status growth and for new colours
Putting in numbers in 1 day you can have much more dinos over thralls in conan.
Both Conan and Ark are almost the same game
Both you can build and have followers (thralls/dinos)
And both have survivals aspects like food , water , weather
Blitz server was boosted exp and harvest
And conan was very easy to level up and always have one item give us hight exp but in the old time it was bombs , stone vases and even crafting vaults from 44 to 60 also theres are journey and explorer exp in the old times too.

Wasting words is not necessary, doing actions is necessary because it’s gaming time we speak about and official server performance.
So… Let’s do it brother, let’s see a regular gaming of 3 hours per day what can achieve in a month.
To maintain a good server perfomance you need to have GOOD servers no the g-portal servers and of course a game optimized check ARK we never have a reset

Once again COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BUG. This issue was so hard to fix because, AT THAT TIME IT HAD MORE THEN ONE CAUSE. The reason so many people experienced similar issues is because we had several bugs with similar symptoms.
