It would be nice to be able to sort items (specifically in console) to item type. For example, when at the blacksmith bench, you are able to sort/filter by downloadable content. But I would love to be able to sort by Axe, Sword, Agility, Strength, etc. instead of heaving to scroll and scroll to find items that I would like to craft.
Be careful what you are wishing for. There is obviously no one working at Funcom who is able to program a working user interface presenting, sorting and selecting some contents of a by modern standards tiny data table.
I find your request correct and logical. I have stopped getting interested to unlock recipes on my feat points, or getting recipes i don’t need just because the blacksmith bench menu is unbearable and the filters of playstation don’t actually help that much.
A filter by weapon type or tool type would help way better. However they could add a search bar also.
Armorers bench and blacksmith bench, for people who own all dlcs , bp , twitch, bazzar and both maps full unlock are completely unbearable and confusing also. The way the system is right now , the only salvation is to avoid recipes you don’t need but still it’s kinda annoying.
A search bar would be helpful, yes. But, when I do have a few different recipes, I like to compare stats against each other. Also, if only utilizing the search bar, you would have to remember the name of each item you want to build, and then its just as easy as scrolling down as they are alphabetical.
A simple sort by type as they are in the inventory shouldnt be all that difficult to implement. Although I would like to have a filter instead. The sort is probably simpler.
There are many survival games that use the search bar and it’s by far the most convenient way to find what you’re looking for to craft straight away. No frustration, no pain, only joy .
Yes this is something that everyone wants while playing but only few support it in here unfortunately. And i really don’t understand why people don’t speak on so frustrating issues and call them minors or “i don’t trust devs can do it” excuses just to disagree .

Unless you are suffering from translation issues. For example Skelos Cultist Master’s armor. With German translation the five pieces are not starting with an „S“, no, it’s

And at the blacksmith bench the field for displaying the damage is only 17 characters wide but the chosen german translation for “damage“ is 18 characters alone, so no damage numbers to see at all. Which is broken (and reported) for ages.
I gave up completely. Although it breaks immersion I simply look up all I don’t remember on the tablet rather than ingame while playing, the wiki (and the people maintaining it) rules!
