Additional Information:

Tested with a variety of spear combinations any sweeping spear combined with any other sweeping spear, but not with any standard spear.

Yes, that is working as intended since the sorcery illusion system uses move-sets to match compatible illusions

That is how the system works but it shouldn’t in this case, there are now a set of 7 spears with extremely limited illusion options as a result when there are so many and more weapons
(some of which share models such as Nkosi’s Pike and the normal steel spear, so saying it’s unimmersive due to blade shape is a n invalid point.)

A spear should go on a spear, regardless of whether it’s sweeping or not.

I really like the new spear moveset, but I’m pushed away from it due to the lack of illusion options.

Seven spear options are more than the five dual axe options.

I didn’t see you filing bug reports when the same system allowed you to illusion your lemurian axe as the lying bastard 2h sword model based on the moveset :joy:

In any case, I doubt they would change that just for this, however my point was that this is NOT a bug… if you simply think it should work differently, that’s what the feedback section is for

Yeah I was gonna say that they were very clear at the release of the illusion system that the move sets are the factor and not the weapon itself (which makes sense if you think about it) but since there isn’t a lot that they provide in documentation for how to use this that or the other, that detail was lost
