Split Bug Trigger Identified

Game mode: Online Private
Type of issue: UI Bug
Server type: PvE
Region: America

Identified the Enter key as being the trigger for the ongoing stack splitting bug that locks you into your UI.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Shift-Drag a stack from one container to another.
  2. Type in an amount and press Enter.
  3. You are now locked into the UI and cannot ESC

Non-Bugged Version

  1. Shift-Drag a stack from one container to another.
  2. Type in an amount and click the OK button in the UI
  3. You are not locked into the UI and the container closes.

The Enter key input is bugged during this action. Should be an easy fix.

For the stack split bug have you tried clicking on another inventory spot with your mouse cursor? I have this issue where I cannot escape to get out of the inventory often times when I enter a value to split and hit enter. When I click on another inventory spot I am then able to ESC out of the inventory screen.

My post was not to indicate that I was unable to get out of the situation as my non-bugged version works perfectly well. It was to share the isolation of the what is triggering this bug to occur. Thank you though.

Since you mention this is happening in a private server, could you let us know if there are any mods installed?

Same bug and both solutions are possible in my single player game running without any mods.
